| Route Notes | ABC 30 Sep 5700m C1 05 Oct 6300m C2 06 Oct 7000m C3 07 Oct 7500m HP 08 Oct 7600m by Neuschmid, Hefti, Roeoesli-Zingg, Schnyder, Ngima Chhiring at 3 pm (NST). Team left C3 at 2 am. Weather was windy and very cold. Just below the Yellow Band Neuschmid triggered a slab avalanche of about 1000m, which swept the team down for about 50 meters. Roeoesli-Zingg bruised a few ribs, but everybody else was fine. They descended to ABC, where they arrived at 6 pm. Ngima Chhiring had summited Cho Oyu on 1 Oct with Stephan Keck.
