| Route Notes | Rigoci left C3 at 1:30 am, Rebro and Tuma at 2 am for summit. Tuma turned around from 7800m to C3 as he was feeling very cold and afraid of frostbite. Rebro reached to the top at 11 am and Rigoci at 12:40 pm. Rebro stayed on summit for one hour with Czech team and returned to C3 at around 4 pm. Rigoci stayed on summit for 15 minutes and went down with Rebro. Both continued to descend to C2 where they arrived at around 6 pm and spent the night there. Next day both went down to BC. The summit day weather was good. The summiters had view of Everest, Lhotse. The team returned to Kathmandu from Kodari by helicopter. Rebro, Rigoci and Tuma left BC on 9 Oct and Pastor on 11 Oct. Pastor went up to 6800m on 29 Sept, but did not try for the summit. |
