Route Notes Left C2 at 1:45 am on 1 Oct all together, then split up due to speed. Arrived at C3 site 4 to 5 am. Climbed to summit with other groups: Adventure Peaks, Kobler. Arrived at summit at 8:20 am and 9:50 am. Clear on summit. Matthew Parkes (email) - 18 Nov 2012 The other clients got to the following locations: James Whitbread: The highest he got was to C2 on an acclimatisation rotation. On our Summit attempt he turned around about 100m above C1 and returned to BC. Bruno Baschung: The highest he got was to C2 on an acclimatisation rotation. He did not join the summit attempt and stayed in BC. Brett Charlesworth: Withdrew from the expedition early because he was not fit enough. The highest he got on acclimatisation rotation was just above C1. Chris Rudge: Withdrew from the expedition early as he was struggling. The highest he got was C1 on acclimatisation.
