Route Notes On the summit push McGrath spent two nights at C2 at 7000m. The reason why she spent two nights was that she was waiting for some other Asian Trekking members to arrive who she wanted to climb with. On 1 Oct McGrath left C2 at 10:30 am (NST). She partnered up with two Czechs, Tony and Petra. McGrath arrived at C3 at 1:30 pm and started digging the platforms for her and the two Czechs as they only arrived one and a half hours later. As the night of 1 Oct was very windy, they decided to abandon their summit push and go down rather than up. On 2 Oct at about 8:30 am they left C3 to descend to ABC, where they arrived at 4:30 pm. Alstrin reached C2 on 20 Sept, but he did not stay the night. He was filming McGrath. However, he did not acclimatize properly and decided not to go back up to continue his filming. Hughes reached Chinese Base Camp, but did not feel well and left the expedition on 16 Oct. Oxygen: Not taken, not used
