Route Notes Team left C2 at 7 am on 5th May. They had spent two nights at C2 as they were hoping that the rope would be fixed by then. It took them about three hours to get to C3. Conditions were good and weather was sunny and clear, not windy. When they got to C3 they noticed that the rope was not fixed and as they did not have any rope or any climbing gear themselves. They contemplated to go up for about one hour and when they noticed that they could not get over the Yellow Band they decided to turn back. They descended to C1 and broke down their camp at C2. They arrived at C1 at about 5 pm. The next day they descended to ABC. They left ABC on 9th May and drove straight to Zangmu on that day.
