Route Notes The summit team started from C2 on 27 Sept at 10:36 pm. The weather was calm and the conditions were good. The new snow that had fallen a couple of days before had settled and was firm. The team decided to climb from C2 as Lang felt fit enough to do it and he did not want to spend one night at 7400m. When they got to the summit they saw Everest. They spent about half an hour on the summit and descended to C1, where they arrived at 4:15 pm. They had stopped at C2 at about 11 am to dismantle the camp and carried on to C1. They descended to ABC on 29 Sept and left ABC on 30 Sept. They arrived in Kathmandu on 1 Oct (they left Chinese BC on 30 Sept) and as there was some time left, Lang went trekking in the Annapurnas before he returned to Germany on 14 Oct.
