Route Notes The team sent two parties to the top. The first, Anton and Tari, left C3 on 26 September at 4:00 am (Chinese time) and reached the summit at 12:30 pm (10:15 NST). They saw Everest very briefly amidst the clouds. They returned to C3 at 6:00 pm that day and were back in ABC the next day. The next summit party, Agullo, Fernandez, Marcos and Trasobares, went for the top on 1 October. Fernandez and Marcos left C3 at 4:00 am, while Agullo and Trasobares left three hours later. Trasobares got to 8000m at 5:00 pm, then didn't feel safe with the weather deteriorating and snow beginning to fall, so he turned around and descended to C2, where he arrived at 8:00 pm. The other three went to the top. Fernandez and Marcos were on the summit at 2:00 pm (11:45 NST) and 3:00 pm (12:45 NST), respectively; both returned to C2 at 8:00 pm. Agullo got there at 7:00 pm (4:45 NST) and stayed in C3 at 11:00 pm for the night. All four members in this party were back in BC on the 2nd. On his summit day, Marcos developed frostbite on three toes of his right foot, but didn't realize it until two days later. They will heal.
