| Route Notes | Summit team left C3 at midnight. Weather clear and calm. Straightforward climb. Good views from the summit: they saw Everest. Team spent half an hour on the summit. Gjerdset, Rosenstrom, Saeboe, Sandbakk descended to ABC, where they arrived at 4 pm. Rest of the summit team descended to C2, where they arrived at 2 pm. On 30 Sept all members to ABC. Havard Buset and his wife Kari Buset reached 6000m (just below the killer slope) on 16 Sept. Neither of them was feeling well (Havard had a bad cough and Kari had stomach problems). They left ABC on 20 Sept. Falck-Pedersen only reached interim camp at 5300m on 11 Sept. He had a bad cough and was worried that it could be pulmonary edema. He stayed one night at interim camp and felt so bad that a truck had to take him down to BC. He waited there for another three days, but his condition did not improve. He left BC 14 Sept. Hexeberg reached C2 on 21 Sept on the acclimatization trip. She spent the night and went back to ABC. On the summit push she reached C1, but got bad asthma, so she descended to ABC and abandoned the expedition. Myhre reached 6600m (just below the ice cliff) on 21 Sept. He had the felling that he was not strong enough for the mountain and descended to ABC on the same day. He left ABC on 25 Sept. Thorn reached C2 on 21 Sept on the acclimatization trip. He spent the night and went back to ABC. On the summit push he reached C1, but felt weak and descended to ABC and abandoned expedition. Tommeraas reached C1 at 16 Sept. She spent a night there. She felt not strong enough to carry on climbing and abandoned the expedition. She stayed at ABC for the rest of the expedition.
