| Route Notes | BC at middle camp on 24 Sept at 5300m. Hofmannova and Milfait started from C3 at 3:30 am NST on 1 Oct. They reached summit at 12 noon stayed on summit for about 30 minutes. They had good view of Everest, Lhotse, etc. Descended to C3 where they arrived at around 6 pm. They slept at C3. Next day to upper midcamp to sleep and the following day to ABC. Belik started from C3 at 4 am, reached summit at 1 pm, stayed on summit for about 30 minutes, descended to C3 slept there. Matousek and Novakova started from C3 at 4:30 am, reached summit at 5:45 pm, stayed on summit for about 15 minutes, back to C3 between 9-9:30 pm. Matousek and Novakova were the last ones to leave summit on that day. The weather on summit day was very good. There was a little snowfall between 2 pm to 4 pm. After that it was clear sky. Kocman had problem with his boot and his high point was the rockband on 1 Oct. He tried again on 2 Oct with another boot borrowed from other member. He left C3 at 3 am on 2 Oct, but returned to C3 after one and half hours. His toes started paining. |
