| Route Notes | Both Bauds (father and son) Didault, Coutty and Pemba Gyalzen Sherpa left C2 at 10 pm CST on 2 Oct. The team reached C3 at about midnight, rested there about one hour. It was windy and cold. The team continued climbing on 3 Oct. They arrived at 7600m at 2 am. Both Bauds had stomach problem and felt very cold. Both skied down to C2. Didault reached summit at 11:30 am, stayed there about 30 minutes and skied down to C1; Pemba reached summit at 12 noon. Coutty turned around to C2 from 7900m due to exhaustion and cold. Next day two Bauds with loads skied down to ABC and the rest walked down to ABC. Anselme Baud said that on same day two Americans also skied down from summit. Other climbers summited were one Spanish and one or two Croatian women. The team returned Kathmandu on 8 Oct and will leave on 12 Oct.
