Route Notes Summit push: Laughlin, Skrede and Parsu Ram Rai left C2 at 9 pm on 4 Oct. They reached at about 7400m between 11 to 11:30 pm then turned around to C2 at around midnight due to cold feet. Rested for couple of hours then descended to ABC. The team planned for another attempt on 7 Oct, but called it off due to bad weather, strong wind. Other members: Andrews went up to C2 on 1 Oct, but got sick coughing due to coldness and was weak, back to ABC. No further climbing. Bartova slept at C1 on 9 Sept and descended to ABC, not strong enough to continue climbing. Kuppusamy same as Andrew's case. Schmitz went up C2 on 30 Sept, slept there. He suffered from sore throat and remained at ABC rest of the time. Szymiec went up to C2, slept there for two nights. Next day morning, while going to C3 encountered the rescue team of Chinese climber who got his right leg fractured. Szymiec joined the rescue team bringing down the Chinese (Hong Kong) to C1. He did not try to go to the summit. The team returned Kathmandu on 10 Oct and will leave on different dates. Sherpas: Parsu Ram Rai Mi Tenzing (Mitijen) Sherpa
