Route Notes Szepieniec and Sonam left C3 at 2 am (CST) on 15 Oct. It was clear but windy and very cold. They reached 7800m after one hour but turned back due to cold. They descended to ABC and arrived at 8:30 pm. Bartochowski reached C2 on 11 Oct, stayed one night, but did not want to carry on. Descended to ABC on 12 Oct. Gasowska reached Chinese BC on 27 Sept. She left for Kathmandu on 28 Sept due to altitude sickness. Kalisz reached ABC on 29 Sept. She left for Kathmandu on 30 Sept to accompany Pawlowski, who was very sick. Oblicki reached 6900m on 8 Oct. He was with Tauszynski and abandoned climb due to altitude sickness. Pawlowski reached ABC on 29 Sept. He had severe stomach pain. On 30 Sept his stomach was swollen and hard. Brice's doctor told him to go down immediately. 7 Tibetans carried him down to interim camp from where he was picked up by a jeep. He arrived in Kathmandu on 1 Oct, went straight to Norvic clinic and was operated on the same day. He had renal insufficiency and perforated bowel with peritonitis. Rusinek reached C2 on 8 Oct, stayed 1 night, but did not feel well and descended to ABC on 9 Oct. Soszynski reached 7700m on 15 Oct, the day high point was reached. He climbed without oxygen but got too cold. He turned back to C3, where he waited for Sonam and Szepieniec. Sulwinski reached 7300m on 14 Oct, but his feet were very cold and as he was worried about frostbite, he turned back. Tauszynski reached 7000m together with Oblicki on 8 Oct.
