| Route Notes | Alzola, Garcia, Gonzalez and Martin left C2 at 2 am (CST) on 23 Sept. Alzola reached summit at about 1:30 pm (CST). Garcia, Gonzalez and Martin at about 2 pm. Summiters stayed on summit about half an hour and descended to C2 at 10 pm. Weather on summit was good but little windy. All members saw Everest for short time. There was cloud on Everest side. Other summiters on that day were Singaporean women members and Sherpas, two Americans (maybe) & 2 Sherpas, two Italians; about 8-10 foreigners and Sherpas. This Spanish team was the last one to summit on that day. Other days weather was very bad lot of snow and strong wind. 2-3 tents of Norwegian expedition were blown away at C1. The team returned Kathmandu on 27 Sept and will leave on 28 Sept. |
