| Route Notes | BC at CBC/IC on 8 Sept at 5250m. On 17 Sept Chamielec and Gabarski left C1 at 10 am (CST) to put up C2. When they reached 7000m at about 3 pm (CST) Chamielec did not feel well. There was lots of snow, so then Chamielec and Gabarski returned to C1 at about 4:30 pm. Chamielec and Gabarski were at C1 on 21 Sept, but they could not go beyond C1 due to deep snow. On 22 Sept they got back to ABC. High point for Henzel was C1 (6400m) on 11 Sept. He got sore throat and antibiotic did not work to cure it. Then he descended to CBC. Henzel returned to Kathmandu on 18 Sept. Pieta went up to C1 on 11 Sept; rest of the time stayed at ABC. Sokolowski while in Intermediate Camp suffered from cough and cold and breathing problem and stayed at ABC for rest of the time. The team returned to Kathmandu on 27 Sept and will leave on 11 Oct. Note: After Sokolowski departure, Gabarski took the responsibility of leadership. |
