Route Notes On 1 May Confortola and Mondinelli left ABC at 14:30 hours NST. They had rest at C1 for two hours; reached C2 at 01:00 hours on 2 May. After a while left C2. Mondinelli reached summit at 09:00 hours. Mondinelli had to wait two hours on summit for Confortola who arrived summit around 11:00 hours. Stayed about 15 minutes and descended to ABC at 17:00 hours. Weather was very good, no wind, no clouds. Confortola and Mondinelli left CBC on 4 May, arrived Kathmandu on 5 May. They were trying to leave as soon as possible. Both Confortola and Mondinelli did not use oxygen and did not take oxygen. Magliano and Pemba Rinji left C3 at 01:00 hours (NST) on 14 May, reached summit at 15:09 hours, stayed on summit 15 minutes, saw good views of Everest. It was little windy, otherwise very good weather. Descended to C3 slept there and next day BC. Magliano used oxygen from C3 to summit and to C3. Sherpa did not use oxygen. Magliano team returned to Kathmandu on 19 May. He left on 21 May. Rest of the members on 25 May. Cariboni climbed up to C2 slept there on 7 May; left BC on 10 May as he was fed up. Dalla Rosa left BC on 3 May. His father was hospitalized. He spent a night at C1 on 23 April. Della Vedova and Danielle Lenatti slept at C2 on 8 May, no motivation to climb. Giordani and Floriano Lenatti attempted for summit on 9 May, reached up to Yellow Band. Strong wind and cold caused them to turn back to BC. They did not try to summit again.
