| Route Notes | On 9 May Ward and Dawa reached to C3, planning to summit next day. Due to strong wind and snowfall it was not possible for them to continue climbing and they descended to ABC where the team reached at 15:00 NST. The team returned to Kathmandu on 13 May and Ward will leave Nepal on 15th. He is planning to come to climb Makalu in 2008 Spring. Ward said there was one Australian woman (Mountain Guide) summited on 9 May. Ward went to ABC from Sishapangma; did not stay at CBC or IC on Cho Oyu.
