| Route Notes | 1st summit attempt on night of May 1/2: all members and 2 Sherpas Dawa Chhiring and Pemba Gombu Sherpa from C2 and to Yellow Band; at 7600m Rodriguez oxygen finished at 10:00 am and spare bottle damaged and thus back to C2; others very cold. Rodriguez, Juvall and Pemba stayed in C2; others to ABC. 5 May Joaquin, Rosa, Dawa from ABC to C2. 6 May 2:00 am (NST) started up to Yellow Band and 7900m; on Yellow Band snowing and windy, on top of band weather better but now 10:50 am and very tired and down to ABC at 6:00 pm. Now climb finished - no more time and weather not good. Oxygen used by Rodriguez and Juvall from C2 up to high point (Rodriguez) and Juvall back to C2; Rosa and Pinera not used; 2 Sherpas not used.
