Route Notes Davies, Griffiths, Lively, Peacock, Tebay, Bhattarai, Mingma, Nuru, Sonam and Phurba left C3 at 01:30 hours (NST) of 1 Oct. Davies, Tebay along with Bhattarai, Mingma and Sonam reached to the summit at 06:40 hours. Griffiths and Phurba summited at 07:30 hours. Lively, Peacock and Nuru summited at 08:00 hours. On an average the summiters stayed on summit about 20 minutes. All members and Sherpas descending to C2 abut 16:00 hours. Bhattarai, Mingma and Sonam descended to ABC. Next day all to ABC. Weather was very good, but cold. Summiters had beautiful view of Everest and other mountains. Peacock guessed that about 50-60 people summited on that day. Ahead of this team on summit were Russell Brice (Himex) team and many others. Behind Peacock team at least there were 20 people. All members and Bhattarai used oxygen from C3 except Peacock and Sherpas used none. Boardman, Brittleton, Roger Grange and James Griffiths left ABC on 26 Sept. They may have left Kathmandu on 2 Oct. All these four went up to C2 on 19th. They were just fed up. David Grange left ABC on 9 Sept; he suffered from AMS/headache. He may have left Kathmandu on 11 or 12. Grouse spent a night at C1 on 18 Sept. She got homesick and left ABC on 19 with Hickey who could not cope with altitude. He was not well. They left Kathmandu on 22 Sept. Murphy returned from Tingri on 2 Sept to Kathmandu as he had problem in his right leg. The expedition returned to Kathmandu on 4 Oct and will leave on 7 Oct.
