Route Notes Summit 1 Oct: Naludka, Sarna, Wolanin left C3 at 6 am, Wylezol and Pasang Dawa left C3 at 6 am but had to return to C3 after about 200m as Wylezol did not wear enough clothes. All summiters stayed about 30 minutes on summit and descended to C2, where they arrived at 6 pm, apart from Wolanin who arrived at 9:45 pm. Summit 2 Oct: Pilatowski, Hudek and Grazadziel left C3 at 3:30 am. Apanasewicz and Semieniec left at 8 am. Weather was clear. They spent about 30 minutes on summit. Hudek arrived at C2 at 7 pm. Pilatowski arrived at C2 at 9 pm. Remaining members stayed at C3. Apanasewicz and Siemieniec arrived at 9 pm, Grzadziel at 11 pm. Krzysztof Hudek reached 6800m on 16 Sept, but turned back due to altitude problems. Juziuk reached 6800m on 20 Sept, but abandoned climb due to fatigue. Kawalec reached 6800m on 01 Oct, but turned back due to altitude problems. Lukasik reached 8000m on 2 Oct but turned back at 10 pm as it was getting too late. He had also taken a wrong turning on summit plateau. He followed tracks on left hand side. He returned to C3 where he arrived at 7:30 pm on 3 Oct. When he arrived C3 Apanasewicz and Siemienic were still at C3 sleeping; at about 10 am they descended to ABC. Lukasik spent another night at C3 and descended to C2 on his own on 4 Oct. He felt very tired and took 4 hours to C2. He tried to take tent with him from C3 but wind was too strong and it flew away. On 5 Oct he descended to ABC where he arrived at 1 am on 6 Oct. The other members had to leave as they had ordered their yaks which they used together. They left him a tent and asked Phil Crampton's cook to look after him. Lukasik left ABC on 6 Oct. He walked to intermediate camp from where he took a truck to Tingri. There he met Phil Crampton and he got a lift with him to Zhangmu, where Siemieniec and Apanasewicz were waiting for him.
