Route Notes Tashi Lhakpa Sherpa left C2 at 10 pm of Sept 30, reached summit at 7 am of Oct 1, stayed on summit about 30 minutes, descended to ABC at 4 pm. Tashi did not use oxygen. Weather was very good, little windy, at the summit ahead of Tashi were one Sherpa and a client. Behind Tashi there were many people. The Greeks abandoned the climb at 7600m due to exhaustion, lack of confidence, and cold. The expedition returned to Kathmandu on Oct 5 and will leave on 6. Sherpas: Tashi Lhakpa Sherpa, 18/11/1985, Walung, Makalu-9, Sankhuwasabha. Musician and climber. Smt: Everest 2004 & 2005, Ama Dablam 2005 Nawang Sherpa (brother of Tashi), 2/8/81, climbed up to C3 Karma Gyalzen Sherpa, from same village, climbed up to C3
