| Route Notes | Davalos Gonzalez and Pasang Tsheri Sherpa left C2 at 02:00 hours (NST) on May 7. Summit at 14:15 hours. Stayed on summit about 5 minutes. Descended to C2 at 17:30 hours. Next day to ABC. Weather was very good. No clouds, no wind, but cold. Pavalos Gonzalez saw summit prayer flags. McKinlay was ahead of them. Did not see other people on the summit. They could not see Everest as that side was covered with clouds. Davalos Gonzalez along with Indian Expedition doctor had treated many people local as well as climbers. Davalos Gonzalez is thinking to go to Everest CBC and work voluntarily for sick people. The team returned to KTM on May 12 and leave on May 17 or 18. Pasang Tsheri Sherpa, (29/7/72), Khumjung (VDC ward no 2) Khumbu, 1st 8000er |
