Route Notes Before moving to ABC team did some acclimatization trips around BC. On summit day summit team and Pilkington and Falgate left C3 at midnight. The weather was clear and climbing was straightforward. Good views of Everest. After summiting summit team descended to C3 where they arrived at 2pm. Pilkington and Falgate got to about 7700m when they turned around at 2:30 am. Pilkington felt very sick and had to vomit (food poisoning) and Falgate had very cold feet. They descended to C2, where they arrived at noon. Team descended to ABC on 26 May. Chiew did not make it above Chinese BC as he got a bad chest infection and was taken to Kathmandu on 12 May.
