Route Notes Youn and Phu Tashi Sherpa left C3 at 05:00 hours NST on May 1, reached summit at 11:30 hours. Stayed on summit about an hour. Back to C3 at 16:30 hours. Next day to ABC. Weather conditions were good and clear while ascending, but on descending it got windy. Youn saw prayer flags, left a flag of Dae Jeon Seil Alpine Club with signature of senior club members on the summit. Nepal side was cloudy, so he could not see the Everest. On that day there were not any climbers on the summit. Kwan-Ho Kang and Eu-Tak Kim with Pemba Chotti Sherpa attempted summit on 25 April; they left C3 at 04:30 hours, it was windy. When they reached at 8100m it was already 14:30 hours; that was their turn around time and they gave up and back to C3. Member Myoung-Kwan Cha climbed up to C1 on April 22; he had to manage ABC and did not climb. Rae-You Hong climbed up to C1 on April 22; due to headache he could not continue. Ki-Sol Kim climbed up to C2 on April 22; headache and exhausted, did not continue climbing. Hee-Kwan Youn was supposed to remain at ABC. The team returned to Kathmandu on May 6 and will leave on May 10. Phu Tashi Sherpa, 18/05/73, Phortse, Everest North 23/5/04 Note: As the Dae Jeon Seil Alpine Club members climbed Khumjung, Gyachung Kang and Cho Oyu, the club plans to propose the Southern Valley of these three peaks as Korean town.
