| Route Notes | BC at road High point at 7400m before 1st traverse. 16th Rampezzotti reached C1 then found he had slight case of pulmonary edema so he and Mingmar Tamang down to ABC and Fernando to ABC on 17th as per plan. 20th April Rampezzotti got sicker but storm of wind and snow prevented him leaving mountain till 20th, when he went to middle camp 21st to BC and 22nd to Zangmu, stayed there till 25th because no transport on Nepalese side because of political turmoil. 21st Rodriguez to C1 with Mingma Tamang. 22nd they to C2 site at 7100m to deposit gear and slept in C1. 23rd to ABC to rest. 26th to C1. 27th to C2. 29th started for top without any C3; left C2 at 3:00 am NST but Rodriguez started vomiting and strong wind up, so down from 7400m at 7:00 am and reached ABC 8:00 pm after resting 4 hours in C1, recovering his health. 20th May Yaks arrived and down to BC and Nyalam and 3rd to Kathmandu. |
