Route Notes Team left C2 at 2:30 am Nepali time. Insausti and Mendizabal got to 7400m and turned back as it was too cold (-20 degrees). Loyola carried on on his own and reached the summit at 10 am. The views were good and he saw Everest. He returned to C2 where he arrived at 1 pm. Insausti was still at C2, and Mendizabal had descended to BC the same day. Loyola and Insausti descended to ABC the next day. Loyola noticed his frostbite at ABC on 5 May. However, the doctors at CIWEC Clinic told him that he would keep his toes. He also got medical help from the doctor of the Indian Army expedition at ABC.
Accidents Loyola got slight frostbite on 4 toes (noticed his frostbite at ABC on 5 May)
