| Route Notes | BC at CBC/IC on Sept 11 at 5450m ABC at usual campsite C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite. Garduce, Patterson, Wells and two Sherpas left C3 at 01:00 hours (NST). Wells summited at 07:00 hours, spent about 30 minutes, descended to C2 at 15:30 hours. Garduce summited at 10:30 hours, stayed about 20 minutes, reached C2 at 17:00 hours. Patterson summited at around 10:40 hours without oxygen, stayed on summit about 30 minutes, reached C3 at 17:00 hours. Next day all reached ABC. Before this team, there was a French and German on the summit. About 8 people summited on that day. Weather was very good; all the members saw Everest in clear weather. Garduce may come for Everest in the spring. The team returned to KTM on Oct 1 and trying to leave Patterson on Oct 3, Garduce on Oct 4 and Wells on Oct 6. Note: Oxygen used: Garduce and Wells used oxygen from C3 to summit and to C2. Patterson and Sherpas did not use oxygen.
