| Route Notes | Team left C3 at 5:30 am (C1). They were the 1st team to summit this season. It was hard work as they broke trail through about 40 cm of snow. Urban skied from the summit to C2 without taking his skis off once. He arrived there at 7 pm (C1). He skied down right of ascending route. Other 2 members walked to C2. Team went to Xixapangma (South Side). Brun summit on 04 Oct. Urban got to 7500m but turned back due to cold feet. Bonhomme got to 6600m but turned back due to fatigue. |
