| Route Notes | High point at last snowfield. 23rd down to ABC to rest and 25th up to C1 and 26th to C2 by both members and 2 Sherpas. 27th 2:00 am NST all 4 from C2 for top. Reached 8000m 9:00 am, sunny no wind, then Thile Nurbu Sherpa started developing pulmonary edema, so all back to C2. Thile slept on oxygen. 28th all to ABC. 29th all to BC and Tingri. Oxygen: 2 members sleeping in C2 to 8000m to C2; Nawang Dorje none; Thile Nurbu in C2 with pulmonary edema 27th night. Members were going strong but 2 Sherpas not. Sanga and Jean used same trekking agent, met on route to BC and decided to join forces; climbed as one team called Cho Oyu Expedition 2005.
