Route Notes BC at CBC/IC 22nd at 5300m ABC at usual campsite C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite. May 11 Cozzini, Roberto Manni, Mase left C2 at 9:30 pm (NST). Mase then back from 7300m as his feet got very cold. Cozzini had to turn back from usual C3 site as his feet too got very cold. Roberto Manni reached summit at 10:30 am of 12th, stayed there about 20 minutes, descended to C2 where he arrived at 2 pm. Next day arrived ABC. Manni saw Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, etc. Sky was clear but windy and cold. The other person on summit with Manni was Joseph Antonelli from other Italian Expedition. Campigotto was at C2 on May 11, but he did not continue climbing as he was tired. Gherardi, Luigi Manni, Marca and Vidi left Nepal on May 3. All four of them been to C1. Gherardi had to leave as his time finished; other three did not want to stay longer as they did not feel good. The remaining seven people returned to KTM on May 16 and are leaving on 19th.
