| Route Notes | Had intend to climb Xixabangma but received message from Ralf Dujmovits, who was on Xixa, that there was so much snow that he had to pitch his BC 10 km from normal site, so Lazar asked CTMA for permission to go to Cho Oyu instead and for better rest. 4 May to ABC. All 7 May to C1, 8th to C2. 9th in C2 that night. 10th Plulik and Marek to ABC and other 2 in C2 another night. Weather bad, strong wind. 11th last 2 down to ABC; just below camp at 7:00 am Stacho collapsed and died within 10 minutes (heart attack?) and climb finished. |
| Accidents | Lazar's chest infection only health problem, except for Stacho's death |
