Route Notes Sept 29 Granheim left C1 at 19:00 hours (Chinese time) reached summit at 08:00 hours (5:45 NST) of Sept 30. Stayed on summit about half an hour. Skied down up to C1, then walked down to ABC where he arrived at 19:00 hours. He had rest at C2. Before him was one person who passed him on summit plateau. After him about 15 other people summited on that day. Weather was quite clear. In Nepal side there was thunder storm. He saw lightning but could not hear thunder. He got clear view of Everest and other mountains. He did ski without rope and without taking of ski. Oct 02 Olsson left C2 (belongs to other expedition) at 04:30 hours (Chinese Time), reached summit at 14:00 hours (11:45 NST). Stayed there about half an hour; skied down to C1 where he reached at 17:00 hours. He to had rest in between. Arrived ABC at 21:00 hours. Before him on summit were two Norwegians of Ultimate Ascent. Weather was clear and had good view of Everest it was very cold. At the beginning Olsson stayed additional nights in Tingri and got to CBC on Sept 11/IC on 19th and ABC on 20th. He delayed going up as he had minor chest pain. Tufvesson: Returned to KTM on Sept 30 and left Nepal on Oct 2 due to chest infections; his highest point was 6500m. Frick: Returned to KTM on Oct 5 and will leave on 7th. He got headache when he got at 6900m on Sept 28. He could not acclimatized easily. Olsson and Granheim plans to go for Everest in 2006. Both Olsson and Grandheim wanted to go to Sishapangma btu Chinese Authority refused for their permit saying that the weather condition there is not good.
