| Route Notes | BC at Chinese BC ABC at usual camp site C1 at usual camp site C2 at usual camp site C3 at usual camp site. Left C3 on May 9 at 03:00 hours NST, summit at 09:15 hours, stayed on the summit time enough to take pictures maybe 2-3 minutes; it was very cold and windy. Clear view of Everest. He was alone on the summit, saw prayer flags, descended to C2. Ferrer Carrillo suffered from bronchitis. Perez Cerdan fell down while crossing the stream between CBC and ABC on April 18 and fractured the right palm. Both Ferrer Carrillo and Perez Cerdan left BC on April 26 for KTM. Leader Martinez Tebar will leave Nepal on 17th. Sherpa: Renjen Bhote (20-06-1957), Solukhumbu. (according to Bishnu, Renjen had summited Cho Oyu in 1996). |
