| Route Notes | 16 Sept 5:30 am Ryoo and Dawa left for top; arrived at top 4:00 pm (NST), saw Everest, Lhotse, Makalu. Went up together with Mrs Kono and 2 Sherpas. Returned to C3 8:30 pm; no oxygen used by Ryoo and Dawa Chhiri. 22 Sept Lee and Dakipa left C3 2:35 am and on top 9:30 am (saw Everest, Lhotse, Makalu) and returned to C3 12:30 pm - no oxygen used. Fixed almost all ropes on mountain; with Mrs Kono Sherpa. 22nd summiters were 2nd team to top that day. On 22nd Lee saw circle of Lama's flags; Ryoo saw only snow on top. Ryoo encountered snow on plateau up to his knees and took 2 weeks from arrival at summit plateau to top; by the time Lee went to top, enough people had been before him that took only one hour.
