Route Notes Oct 01: started from C2 all four members at 03:40 Chinese Time. Three reached summit at 15:00 (12:45 NST), stayed about 50 minutes, back to C2 at 18:00. Cauderay had to return to C2 due to cold and exhaustion from 8000m. Weather was good, saw Everest and other mountain ranges. Other expeditions summiting on same day were Italian, Japanese and after them was McMillan, the last one to summit on that day. Oct 02: Cauderay started from C2 at 04:50, summited at 12:20 (10:05 NST), stayed there for 15 minutes, reached C2 at 14:00; saw Everest. Dominique (brother of Nicolas) had heart problem and had to leave ABC on 12 Sept and left Nepal on 16th. Heart Problem: As explained by Nicolas is complicated case - normal heart functions are in two chamber left and right. But in case of Dominique, the blood veins from right to left are attached. Doctors says he is not fit for scuba diving but no problem for high altitude. Nothing been proved - it was just a theory. His heart formation may have been the problem in high altitude. Now he is okay. The expedition returned to Kathmandu on 8th and leaving Nepal on 14th Sept.
