Route Notes Climbing Sherpas and cook arrived at Tingri on 16 April and waited there for Germans, who met them there on 27 April. Summit party of 2 Sherpas and Fischer left C2 at midnight of 9/10 May. Kami and Fischer reached summit at 9:45 am and were back in C2 at 12:00 noon. Kami Sherpa stopped his ascent 20m below summit because he wasnn't well (had fever). From summit could not see mountains of Nepal because too cloudy, but on summit found pole with prayer flags. All down to ABC on 11 May. Brosig had very bad cough and did not go higher than C1. Fischer had difficulty climbing so far from C2 to top, but had no tent to pitch at C3 site.
