Route Notes CBC at CBC site ABC at usual campsite C1 at usual campsite C2 at usual campsite C3 at usual campsite. May 05: Fessler and Haase left C2 01:00 hours (Nepal time). Had to stay at C2 about 3 hours due to storm. Reached on plateau about 15:00 hours, but visibility was low, so returned to C3 at 18:00 hours. May 06: Thanner and Sherpa started 05:00 hours reached up to 8100m then started snowfall. They could not see anything, so then returned to C3. Kayatz reached up to 7700m. Stangl reached up to 7900m. The expedition lost 6 tents pitched at C2 due to strong storm on 25th. Tents contained equipments, oxygen supplies. Miss Kaufmann left ABC on April 24 due to thrombosis; arrived KTM on 28, probably left Nepal on 30th. Fiala and Hamm left expedition on May 02; arrived KTM on 3rd and left Nepal on 4th; no motivation. Fessler, Michalik, Schijlen, Miss Vent left ABC on May 8, stayed at CBC; arrived KTM with rest of the members. They are to leave on May 13.
