Route Notes 1 Oct C3 at 2:00 am NST by Staples, Roberts, Dowdy, Taske and Chuldim Dorje left for top and all to 7650m and then turned back in snowfall and wind. Went to C3 hoping for 2nd attempt next day, but weather did not improve and down to C2 on 1st. Climb finished. Dobler and Voss left after both getting to C1 and Voss to 6600m (this was their maximum ability).
Accidents Phu Dorje Sherpa altitude sickness & Mingma Sherpa stomach problem; Wendel knee problem
