Route Notes 26th made C2 and 27th, dumped gear at C3 site and down to ABC. Up for summit push on 1 Oct to C1. 2nd tried to go to C2 but stepped at 22,000 ft by heavy snowfall: were Madden, Mathy, Witzig, Burleson, Benetiz, McCarthy, Morton, Peterson, Juma, Lhakpa Rita, Chirring and Mingma (Thami) and down to C1. 3rd to C2 after snow had consolidated (not Juma, Peterson and Madden). 4th snowed very hard and stayed in C2. 5th again snowing hard and blowing so whiteout. Now weather deteriorating and climb abandoned.
