Route Notes First people to sleep in C1 and C2 had gone from Xixabangma. No C3 because had a good weather window and not sure how long it would last. 16th summit party left C2 3:15 am (NST) to go up and on top about 12:00 noon, back to C2. 2nd summit party left C2 on 28th at 1:00 am (not so well acclimatized as 16th party, full moon) rested in British C3 for an hour between moon's setting and dawn, and again up. Boiveau set out from C2 with summiters, but turned back at 7300m because no energy; he has altitude ceiling (on 11th he did not go up from C2 for some reason and had same problem on Xixa). Successful summiters were Aguet and Lukie at about 1:00 pm and in C2 at 4:00 pm; spent 30 minutes on top in beautiful weather and Aguet extremely tired in descent. Both summit parties saw Everest. Tshering Dorje left expedition as soon as he reached ABC after his ascent, so team had no Sherpas for 2nd ascent.
Accidents Kunga Sherpa slipped at C1 and broke bone in elbow; Lambert chest infection and left 20 Oct
