Route Notes Bayer, Polster and Nima left C2 at 01:00 hours Nepal time, summit at about 11:00 hours, back to C2 around 15:00 hours. It was windy, cloudy and visibility was poor, thus did not spend much time on summit. Same day 3 Japanese and 2 Sherpas were also on summit before the German team. Spengler left C3 08:00 hours, summit at 14:30 hours, spent 1-1/2 hours on the summit. Perfect weather/little cold wind. Saw Everest and Lhotse. On the summit he saw small prayer flags, he was alone on the summit. Returned to C3 at about 16:00 hours. (Slovenian expedition leader summited on 10th). Spengler and Berger shared Slovenian camps. The first group (Bayer, Fuchs, Gell, Polster, Strackerjan) arrived KTM on 15th and leaving on 17. Berger and Spengler returned to KTM on 21 and to leave Nepal on Oct 26 and 25 respectively. Eric Berger reached up to C2. He said that is his limit. Similarly rest of the members too went up to C2. Gschwendtner left the expedition on Oct 1 due to business problem back home.
