Route Notes ABC at same altitude as others but 10 minutes away. 10 May tried for top but at 7800m turned back because of clouds, snow and wind (Lindenau, Mach, Herlt and Marschke). Next bid on 14 May by Bornschein and Franze from C2 to about to C3 and returned because cold. 18 May from C3 Lindenau, Mach and Marschke 5:05 am; Marschke turned back at 7600m (not motivated) and other 2 to top at 1:15 pm NST, only summiters that day in wind, but clear and saw Everest pyramid. Returned to C3 Mach at 3:15 and Lindenau at 4:00 pm.
Accidents Moeller had bad edema and left 25 April; Holger Kloss injured knee 8 May (one leg into crevasse)
