Route Notes BC at Chinese BC ABC at normal spot C2 at normal spot C3 at normal spot. The entire team made it to C3 on 15 May. Adam Scott was put on medical oxygen because of severe altitudes illness, he walked down to C2 on oxygen on 18 May. Once he got down to C2 Scott was fine. Matt Walton, Stuart Sugden, Matt Godbold and Bob Killip then went back down on 16 May. None of them were feeling good enough to climb. Michael McCourt and Allen Caldwell attempted the summit with Roger Grose and Laursen, but both turned back at 8000m due to exhaustion. Brian Laursen and Roger Grose did see Everest. And they saw pray flags, so did Shepley. Roger Grose is due back 25 May with four members Caldwell, Godbold, Brian Laursen and Stuart Sugden (the doctor who treated Tosas for his frostbitten toes). They are returning to Everest north side next spring.
