Route Notes BC at yak pasture ABC at moraine right side of icefall C1 at start of SW ridge. Intended to climb South Ridge, but everyday avalanches came down the highest part of ridge, so changed to SW Ridge. From ABC to ridge was dangerous icefall which took 3 days to get through. Above C1 is very narrow ridge, all rock with same blue ice, to about 6100m and then less steep and narrow but many crevasses. 3:00 am Park Mu-Taek and Won started from C1 for summit push; 7:00 am at 6100m, on top at 12:00 noon in clear calm weather. All throughout climbing period had clear weather, no snowfall, no wind. Returned to C1 5:00 pm, and BC 7:00 pm. Rope fixed in icefall (200m) and 800m from icefall to 6100m.
