Campsites BC(27/11,4900m),xxx(30/11,5500m)
Route Notes BC northwest of Bhrikuti. Most (local) porters did not go beyond Yanagau. Only 3 Sherpa porters went beyond here over the passes (4090m, 5300m and 5450m high) and down to lake at 4900m. Porters went over 2 passes but not the last one, which was very steep to reach. 5 members arrived at BC (Nottaris cooked) and stayed 2 days. Very bad wind. Then Cattaneo got altitude sickness so Nottaris and he went back to 5300m pass while Nesa and Dellatorre tried to climb and reached 5500m and back same day because of wind and meet at 5300m pass. 1 Dec all 5 members to Yara. In winter a very long route very difficult because of wind.
