Route Notes BC at lake side C1 at West Col. Set C1 by first group of 6 members and two Sherpas: Barbier, Hayat, Le Ray, Perret, Perez and Zalio spent night. Next day back to BC. Second group of Crabieres, Legrand, Michaud and Simon to C1. Set C2 on 13th. Back to BC on 15th due to heavy wind. About seven days strong wind. There was about 6 ft snow in the BC area. The team used about 50m extra ropes moving. The mountain condition was dangerous due to plenty of snow. Returned to Kathmandu on 22nd. Leave Nepal on 26th. This team may be the one which reached to the highest point in the season - till this date.
Accidents Regnier high altitude sickness, rescued on 8th, Lukla-KTM by helicopter, left Nepal on 10 or 11
