Route Notes BC near lake (normal site for SE Ridge). Did not arrive at BC. Did not have enough porters and Marsigny reached Lukla 2 days later. Had to stop at Chhukung. Others following cyclone, could not traverse Mingbo La or Amphu Laptsa pass with porters not having proper shoes, etc from trekking agent, who had said was supplying all necessary gear for porters. Made camp at base of Amphu Laptsa. Did Ampha Laptsa later "just to check it out" and went to normal BC. Looked at West Face but no time left to attempt to climb. Went onto moraine below West Face 4 Nov.
