Route Notes BC near 5440m lake of National Geographic map C1 just below West Col on its east side C2 west of Pt 6730m and just east of South Ridge. Snow better when this arrived at mountain than had been earlier, others reported. Attempted summit 12 Oct by Ginet and Voisin, fixed rope to 6900m and back to BC, not enough time to go top; difficult technically & windy. 15 Oct only Hirsh left C2 and just after Dujmovits party and reached top 11:30 am, half an hour after Germans, who completed route above 6900m. Good cooperation with Germans.
