Route Notes BC at Barun Glacier's south side, SSW of point 5750m on Schneider map C2 between points 6730m and 6480m. 23 Oct, 8 members (all except Passelo) left C2 at 7 am and went to pass before ridge at 6600m. Here Grandjean down sick; Siegenthalar to top; Frossard to 7000m with Siegenthaler and stopped when ridge became difficult and snow conditions dangerous. Bugnard, Chavannaz, Pollet, Ruffieux G. and Ruffieux M. reached pass late and stayed at pass to watch Siegenthaler, when he got to summit at 3 pm. Then all but Chavannaz descended as they saw Siegenthaler coming down ridge while Chavannaz waited for Siegenthaler. All to C2 night of 23 Oct. Left BC 31 Oct.
Accidents Nothing serious except Grandjean developed blood pressure problem at 6600m
