| Route Notes | Route: SE Ridge High point for members - 6500m at C2 on 19 October for Sherpas - 6900m on 20 October According to team's sirdar, Galden Sherpa, the four members and two Sherpas, Galden and Phul Bahadur Tamang, went to C2 at 6500m on 19 October and stayed there that night. The next day, while the members remain in C2, the two Sherpas went up to 6900m fixing rope across the major crevasse and up to this point, the south summit, and returned to C2. But on the 21st the wind was too strong to continue the climb that day. Everyone retreated to BC instead and it was decided to abandon the climb all together. Sherpas: Galden Sherpa, 6/12/86, Cheremy, Bung-9, Solu, Everest X1 Phul Bahadur Tamang, 26/9/84 (10/6/2041), Lukla, Solu, Everest X1 |
