Route Notes BC beside the lake C1 at West Col. Six members out of eight started their summit push from C1 South Col at 4 am on 3 May. Blanc, Chevalier, Melchior, Sikora, Steunou and Vassilev reached 6800m at 11 am, then snowfall started that made their climbing slow and they returned to C1 where they arrived at 2 pm. They spent the night at C1 and next day went down to BC. Bulik stayed at C1 due to breathing problem. Ronayette stayed at BC due to headache. Fixed rope: 100m below C2 - West Col.
